MA, LCMHCA
Julie graduated from Columbia International Universities CACREP accredited Master’s Program in Mental Health Counseling. She has experience providing in-school therapeutic care to students and their families. Julie developed exceptional skills in facilitating an environment of empathy, compassion and care. She works with individuals of all ages and especially loves working with children!
Throughout her undergrad, Julie saw great value in creating a safe and therapeutic space for processing life’s transitions. Her interest in mental health began to grow as she realized her desire to work in a place where she could impact others the way counseling personally impacted her. She is passionate about creating a soothing space for pain to be processed and healed. In her free time, she loves to go on mountain hikes, try out new local coffee shops with her husband, taking exercise classes, cooking healthy recipes, and hanging out with her pet rabbit! She is new to North Carolina and loves it. Also, since she got her bachelors from Clemson University, she is forever a Tiger’s fan!
“When I saw A Little Counseling specialized in anxiety, I knew it would be a great fit because I am also passionate about anxiety and continuing to grow in my ability to treat it. A Little Counseling was the clear choice for me, especially after meeting members of the team and seeing how supportive and positive the environment is. I also loved the organized and peaceful atmosphere of the practice. I am incredibly excited to be a part of the team!”
