Shanna earned her Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Louisville and her Master of Social Work from NC State University. She brings valuable experience from her internships and professional roles, working closely with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, serving clients in psychiatric inpatient settings, and supporting diverse populations in community mental health. Shanna has experience addressing a wide range of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, life transitions, PTSD, ADHD, and bipolar disorder.
Dedicated to serving individuals of all ages, Shanna provides a warm, safe atmosphere that fosters healing, growth, and emotional well-being. Inspired by her own positive experiences with counseling in high school, Shanna discovered early her passion for helping others. She is naturally empathetic and approachable, qualities that make her an excellent listener and someone clients feel comfortable sharing their concerns with. She desires to help others live the best life they can!
Shanna enjoys spending time with her husband, dog, Ellie May, family, and friends. She enjoys reading thriller books, listening to music, and singing.
