MS, LCMHC
Lauren received a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University’s CACREP certified program. She graduated a member of the professional honor society, Chi Sigma Iota.
Lauren joins our team with experience interning at a private practice in New York where she helped individuals cope with anxiety, phobias, depression, OCD and eating disorders. Lauren has worked with children and young adults with autism and special needs. She was a teacher assistant in a special education school and volunteered as a peer mentor for college students with autism. Lauren works with individuals of all ages.
Life experiences guided Lauren’s decision to enter the field of counseling. She knew from a young age that she was passionate about mental health and wanted to go into a helping profession. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors in nature, playing with her dogs and trying out new healthy recipes!
“What I loved most upon reading and visiting A Little Counseling was its focus on helping individuals understand, cope and overcome anxiety in a quiet and comfortable setting for young people and adults alike.”
