MSW, LCSWA
Katrina is a dedicated counselor and social worker with over 25 years of experience supporting children, families, and communities. Known for her compassion, patience, and thoughtfulness, Katrina is committed to helping others build confidence and find hope. Above all, she values family, connection, and the opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of others. She earned her master’s degree in social work from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University in New York, N.Y.
Katrina was inspired to become a counselor because she has always had a deep desire to help others feel heard, understood, and supported. Throughout her life, she has seen how much people can struggle silently and understands how important it is to have someone who listens without judgment and truly cares. Her experiences, both personal and professional, have shown her how powerful it can be to guide someone through their challenges, remind them of their strengths, and help them rediscover hope.
For Katrina, counseling is not just a career; it’s a calling to make a difference in people’s lives by walking with them through their hardest moments and celebrating their growth and healing. Her ultimate goal as a counselor is to empower individuals and families to overcome challenges, build resilience, and reach their full potential. She strives to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard, valued, and inspired to make positive changes in their lives. Ultimately, she wants to make a meaningful difference by helping others find hope, confidence, and lasting well-being.
Outside of work, she enjoys supporting her daughter at softball games, spending quality time with her family, traveling, reading, exercising, and listening to music to relax and recharge.
“I was drawn to Little Counseling because it offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, and everyone I’ve met has been so welcoming and supportive. It feels like a place where both clients and staff can truly thrive.”
