MS, LCMHCA
Jenny graduated from East Carolina University with a Master’s degree in Counselor Education. She has always loved working with children and began her career in Early Childhood Education. Before moving into the counseling field, she worked as a first-grade teacher. Over the past few years, Jenny has gained experience interning and working in private practice as a therapist. She enjoys working with individuals of all ages and supporting them in achieving their goals.
After her first year of teaching, along with two years of consistent personal therapy, Jenny decided to pursue a career in counseling. She discovered a passion for helping others and is a strong advocate for accessible healthcare, particularly within the Asian American community. As a second-generation immigrant, she is dedicated to speaking out against mental health stigmas.
Outside of work, Jenny enjoys reading, café hopping, watching hockey (go Canes!), and spending time with friends and family. She was drawn to ALC for its focus on anxiety treatment, strong team environment, and collaborative atmosphere.
